Product Usage

How do I use essential oils safely?

Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts and should always be used with care. We recommend diluting essential oils in a carrier oil (such as jojoba, sweet almond, or fractionated coconut oil) before applying to skin. For aromatherapy, add a few drops to a diffuser with water. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition, consult your healthcare provider before use.

How do I dilute essential oils?

What is the Dilution Calculator?

Our Dilution Calculator is a free tool that helps you determine the exact number of essential oil drops needed based on your desired dilution percentage and the amount of carrier oil you're using. It takes the guesswork out of blending so you can create safe, effective formulas every time.

How do I use your room sprays and roll-ons?

Room sprays are ready to use — simply shake well and mist into the air, onto linens, or around your space. Roll-ons are pre-diluted and safe to apply directly to pulse points such as wrists, temples, and the back of the neck.

How long do candles last?

Burn time varies by candle size. For best results, allow the wax to melt to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling, and trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use. Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Shipping

What are your shipping rates?

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your order weight and destination. We offer standard and expedited shipping options so you can choose what works best for you.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping generally takes 5–7 business days after processing. Expedited options are available at checkout for faster delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

For international or multiple-address orders, contact us before purchasing so we can confirm availability, contents, carrier restrictions, duties, and taxes. See our shipping policy.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow your package every step of the way.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We want you to love every product you receive. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at info@properxchange.com. Due to the nature of our products (personal care and wellness items), we are unable to accept returns on opened or used items. Damaged or defective items will be replaced at no charge — please include a photo when reaching out.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Many of our products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind. We recommend performing a patch test before full application — apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Our pre-diluted roll-ons are a great starting point for those with sensitive skin.

Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes. Proper Xchange products are never tested on animals. We believe in ethical, responsible beauty and wellness.
